Promoting Health, Preventing Disease during Naturopathic Medicine Week
The Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) is offering a great opportunity to discover the many benefits of naturopathic medicine and natural approaches to health promotion and disease prevention. During the week of May 6-12, Naturopathic doctors (NDs) across Canada will be conducting free public events at local book stores, community venues and in their own clinics. Presentations include: managing diabetes, stress reduction, digestive health, pregnancy, women's, men's and children's health and how naturopathic medicine can enhance your life. For a complete listing of presentations in your area, please visit www.NaturopathicMedicineWeek.ca.
Naturopathic doctors are primary health care practitioners and experts in naturopathic health care. All workshops and lectures are given by qualified naturopathic doctors, health care providers with a minimum of seven years' post-secondary education, including four years of full-time study at an accredited naturopathic institution.
